About Me

Legal Experience
I am board-certified in personal injury trial law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization, with more than 40 years of trial experience and the highest rating (AV) from Martindale-Hubbell Peer Review Ratings. I've tried hundreds of cases and recovered $10M+ for clients since 2018, with extensive experience in every phase of litigation. And I only represent cyclists.
Cycling Experience
I've ridden more than 100,000 miles over the last 40 years and competed in over 100 triathlons, including the Ironman Hawaii (twice, and qualified five times). I was a member of Team USA and competed in World's Events in Sweden, Australia, and Canada. I placed in the top three at the Texas Master's Triathlon Championship multiple times, and on the cycling side I've raced in a few hundred events and was the Texas Masters Champion (50+) one year, placing highly in other years.
I own and ride high-end bikes, so I understand how a crash can destroy a carbon frame worth thousands of dollars. I handle your property damage claim for free when I represent you on the bodily injury claim.
I also understand serious training: periodization, Functional Threshold Power, Performance Management Charts, and how months of structured preparation lead up to key events. When a crash takes that away, you don't just lose fitness, you lose a season's worth of work. That destroyed potential is part of the damages I pursue on behalf of my clients, and it's something most attorneys don't understand because they don't live it.
I understand the cycling community and the challenges you face as a cyclist. I am committed to our sport and to serving my clients. I have the knowledge, expertise, and experience to help you get compensation for both your personal injuries and the damages to your bike.
